INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the periodic safety and health training for.... Be aware of the fact that during this training we will use the OSH abbreviation when talking about Occupational Safety and Health.

After completing 4 modules of this training you will know:

• what is your occupational risk when working in the office,
• what is a work accident or commuting accident and what are the methods of reducing risk at work,
• safety and health rules in the office environment, including ergonomics when working with a computer
• first aid and evacuation procedures in case of emergency situations.

In order to better understand the materials, you should open every module and section one by one in the given order (the system will not let you complete the training in another order).

Take your time, there is no time limit for any part of this training. You can also go back to previous module when the next one is already completed. Completed parts of the training are marked with  sign while the remaining sections are marked:

You do not need to complete the whole training at once. You can login as many times as you need. Your training will be available for 90 days after the activation date.

Each module ends with a short recap session. It will help you prepare better for the final test. The recap sessions results do not influence final exam results.

A great majority of slides is enhanced with audio. Depending on the slide type, it will start automatically or you need to click icon to hear the sound. Please make sure that you have your speakers on or headset available.

Clicking he following icon: opens a short movie. You also need speakers or a headset. To start a movie, you need to click ► “play” button.

After completing all the modules, you will be asked to pass the test.

Below you can find the exam details, we will also remind it to you before you start the exam.

1. Before you start the test, please make sure that your data are correct (your name, surname and the date of birth).
2. The final exam consists of 30 multiple-choice questions. You select only one answer from a list of three choices.
3. You have 60 minutes to solve the test. Before you start, please make sure you have enough time to complete the test. The unfinished attempt will be treated as a failure.
4. The passing score is 80%.
5. You can get back to the questions that have been already answered.
6. You have maximum 3 attempts to pass the exam.
7. The questions are chosen randomly from the question bank, so each time you get a different set of questions.
8. After getting the test results you will be able to click “detailed view” and check your correctly and incorrectly answered questions, one by one.
9. Once you pass the exam, the certificate will be sent to your e-mail address. Hard copy will be sent to your employer’s address.
10. If you fail three times, you will not get a certificate and your access to the platform will expire automatically.
